How the modules are attached to the roof is an important part of the installation to ensure weather tight-ness and structural integrity. Astronergy have developed a range of fixing specially for New Zealand’s standard roofing systems. This uses an anodised aluminum rail system and brackets for installation onto most common roof types, concrete tile, corrugated iron, long run, with other types available on request.

The roof framing systems have been tested and approved to the AS/NZ standards by CSM Australia see attached certification.

The AS/NZ standard requires the use of DC Switches between photovoltaic modules and inverters. The DC Switch is used with a variety of Astronergy inverters, and provides a high level of safety for users. The range of switch gear available includes din mount 600V, 750V and 1000V isolating switches as well as 1000 Volt IP 66 isolating switches.

The DC mcb range includes 10 amps, 16 amp, 20 amp, 25 amp and 32 amp. All are available in either 2 pole 500 volt or 4 pole 1000 volt.

Accessories for these include under voltage release, over voltage release, shunt release, auxiliary contacts and alarm contacts.
